Sam Labarbera began his career as a junior high school teacher and coach for nine years. He later owned and operated a barber shop for over 40 years. He has served as an inspector for the Arizona State Barber Board for more than 30 years and as vice chairman and chairman of the Arizona State Barber Board. Mr. Labarbera was inducted into the Barber Hall of Fame in 2004.
